About the Role
A Good Neighbor Property Solutions – Pool Division is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced, dependable Pool Service Technician to join our team.
We service customers throughout Hillsborough County, Pinellas County, and surrounding areas and are looking for someone who can confidently handle a residential pool route while providing the level of service our customers expect from A Good Neighbor.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who already understands the fundamentals of professional pool service and can work responsibly with limited supervision.
Job Responsibilities
As a Pool Service Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining residential swimming pools and ensuring each property receives professional, dependable service.
Responsibilities include:
- Cleaning and servicing residential swimming pools
- Testing and balancing pool water chemistry
- Safely measuring and adding pool chemicals
- Brushing, skimming, vacuuming, and maintaining pool surfaces
- Emptying baskets and cleaning filters as needed
- Inspecting pumps, filters, chlorinators, and other pool equipment
- Identifying and reporting equipment or maintenance concerns
- Maintaining an organized and efficient daily service route
- Keeping accurate service records
- Communicating professionally with customers when necessary
- Maintaining the company vehicle and equipment in a clean, professional manner
Preferred qualifications:
- Verifiable previous professional pool cleaning/service experience
- Knowledge of pool water chemistry and chemical balancing
- Familiarity with pumps, filters, valves, chlorinators, and common pool equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot basic pool maintenance issues
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Dependable and punctual
- Able to work independently and manage a service route efficiently
- Strong attention to detail
- Professional appearance and customer-service mindset
- Comfortable working outdoors year-round in Florida weather
- Able to perform the physical duties associated with pool maintenance
What We Offer
- $750–$900 per week, based on experience and qualifications
- Full-time position
