We will notify you as promptly as possible and reschedule at the earliest available opportunity at no additional charge. We reserve the right to miss up to four (4) service days per year due to inclement weather, holidays, or events outside our control. Our observed holidays are New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
4. Payment and Pricing
Pricing. All pricing is provided upfront in your quote or service agreement. We do not charge hidden fees. Prices for recurring service plans are subject to change with thirty (30) days’ written notice. Standard pool chemicals (chlorine, pH balancers, alkalinity adjusters, stabilizer, and algaecide) are included in the monthly service fee unless otherwise specified.
Payment Terms. Payment for one-time services is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing. Monthly service plans are billed in advance at the start of each service period. We accept credit/debit cards, ACH bank transfer, check, and other methods as indicated on your invoice.
Late Payments. Invoices not paid within fifteen (15) days of the due date may be subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance. We reserve the right to suspend services on accounts with unpaid balances until payment is received. If payment remains outstanding for more than thirty (30) days, we may refer the account to a collections agency, and you agree to be responsible for all reasonable collection costs, including attorney’s fees.
Mechanics’ Lien Notice. Please be advised that under Florida law, A Good Neighbor Pool may have the right to file a mechanics’ lien against your property for unpaid services that constitute a permanent improvement to real property, such as equipment installation or repair. Routine pool maintenance services are generally not lienable under Florida Statutes § 713.01. If you have questions about lien rights, please consult with a qualified attorney.
5. Cancellation and Termination
Recurring Service Plans. Service is provided on a month-to-month basis. You may cancel ongoing service at any time by contacting us at least forty-eight (48) hours before your next scheduled visit. No early-termination fees or commitment penalties apply.
One-Time Services. For one-time or project-based services, cancellations require at least twenty-four (24) hours’ notice. Cancellations made with less than twenty-four (24) hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee. Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis for unsatisfactory service and must be requested within seven (7) days of the service date.
Automatic Renewal. If your service agreement includes an automatic renewal provision, you will be notified in writing no less than thirty (30) days and no more than sixty (60) days before the renewal date. You may cancel the automatic renewal at any time by contacting us. In accordance with Florida Statutes § 501.165, any violation of the automatic renewal requirements renders the automatic renewal provision void and unenforceable.
